Stack's Bowers Galleries is pleased to announce the results of their January 2019 New York International Numismatic Convention Auction. An important and diverse selection of coins, including some magnificent European gold issues, made this a memorable auction event. In total, the Stack's Bowers Galleries NYINC auction realized $4,945,277 (all prices reported include the standard buyer's premium). Stack's Bowers Galleries is pleased to announce a complete rebuild and relaunch of their online Auction Archives, available at https://archive.stacksbowers.com/.  The site now features nearly 650,000 past auction records, including many Stack's and American Numismatic Rarities sales dating back to 2002, which have not been available before.​​

Stack's Bowers Galleries is pleased to present details of their auction of world coins, world paper money and ancient coins to be held in conjunction with the prestigious New York International Numismatic Convention (NYINC). This event will be held January 10-12 2019 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in New York City.​​

The Official Currency Auction of the Whitman Coin & Collectibles Winter Expo, presented by Stack's Bowers Galleries, saw total sales that exceeded $11.1 million. Part III of the Joel R. Anderson Collection realized over $8.6 million, while the Caine Collection of Federal Proofs and Essays, Part I, brought over a million dollars.​​

With over $23.9 million in total prices realized, including $12.7 million in United States coins, the Stack's Bowers Galleries Official Auction of the Whitman Coin & Collectibles Winter Expo was a successful conclusion to the firm's 2018 showcase auction season. Highlighted by the Archangel Collection of Colonial and 1792 Coinage, the sale featured a parade of exceptional rarities, many of which had been off the market for decades prior to the Baltimore event. All prices listed include the 20% buyer's fee.​
