legendary, beginning in 1939 when Stack’s ran the first public auction at an
ANA convention, during the New York World’s Fair. In 2010 the Board of Governors of the
American Numismatic Association awarded Stack's Bowers Galleries the exclusive
rights for three consecutive ANA World's Fair of Money convention auctions for
the first time. As a result, we sold over $130 million as Official Auctioneer
of the 2010-2013 ANA World's Fair of Money events, while setting numerous sales
records along the way. The American Numismatic Association once again
selected Stack’s Bowers Galleries in 2014 as an official auctioneer of the
World’s Fair of Money from 2014-2017.
