Original proofs, as here, are where you find them. As a class, proof notes were quite rare, until 1990 and 1991 when examples from the American Bank Note Company Archives were auctioned by Christie's. This dispersal made possible the vast majority of notes we see today. Even so, with many different banks and denominations involved, any given note is apt to be very rare.
