The second sale of this new monthly auction will close next Wednesday, August 26th beginning at 3:00pm EDT, and will close live in our auction gallery at 110 West 57th Street in New York City. We hope you can attend the sale, as the red carpet will be rolled out for you. If you are not in the New York area, you can participate many other ways. The first is bidding from the comfort of your own home, with Stack's at Home, where you can watch live audio and video feed from the auction room and bid in real time. The second way is Stack's Live, where you can follow through the lots live on our website and bid also in real time. You can also leave pre-sale bids, email bids to auction@stacks.com, or fax bids to 603-569-3875. The deadline is 12:00pm EDT on Wednesday, August 26th for fax and email bids.

We hope you can visit our office, view the lots and participate in the sale. Lot viewing hours for the Express sale is Tuesday, August 25nd from 10:00am-4:00pm, and Wednesday August 26th from 10:00am to 3:00pm.

This is one of the finest Express Sales we have ever had. Indeed, the total value of everything offered challenges the million dollar level! How is that for being important?! When you review the listings you will see scarcity after scarcity, rarity after rarity, including high grade pieces certified by NGC and PCGS for the most part. More than just a few of these have the additional verification by Collectors Acceptance Corporation.

Check out, for example, the $20 gold pieces. You will find a memorable 1851, a likewise memorable 1875-CC, and some 20th century coins, including the MCMVII, in grades and quality seldom seen. Read, contemplate, and then participate. There are many great coins offered in the American series, from cents to double eagles, a nice United States Assay Office of Gold $10 from San Francisco, some splendid commemoratives, and more. High quality is the theme.

While most value is centered in gold coins, plus a lot everywhere else on the numismatic map, there is a nice selection of commemoratives. A wonderful Gem 1928 Hawaiian Sesquicentennial in MS-65 certified by PCGS and verified by CAC will be of interest, as will be a lovely, lustrous Panama-Pacific quarter eagle and other coins. Not all are expensive. Indeed, some are Gems that can be purchased in the hundreds of dollars.

There are many fine coins of the world as well, from Scotland, Portugal, Panama, Tuscany, Papal States, Great Britain, various German states, and elsewhere. Check out our listing, contemplate the offerings, and then send your bids! A great E-vent awaits you.

Part of our Auction Express Sale includes a number of notes, nearly all in Uncirculated grade, of types that ranked very high among voters who determined the listings in the best-selling Whitman book, The 100 Greatest American Currency Notes. These are classics, beautiful to behold. If you are not now involved in currency, contemplate our offering and make a beginning! Beyond that, United States gold coins offer many truly great pieces, a nice selection European and World coins is in the offing, and if that were not enough, there are quite a few American commemoratives. Check our listing, and then plan to participate.

Contemplate our listings, consider the possibilities, then send us your bids. Here at Stack's we all look forward to your participation. Please note, just like our regular auction there is a 15% buyers fee added to each winning hammer price.
